As data controllers, GPs have fair processing responsibilities under the Data Protection Act and GDPR law 2018. This means ensuring that your personal confidential data (PCD) is handled in ways that are safe, transparent and what you would reasonably expect.

We, the PCN, are not your General Practice and therefore are not the data controllers of any of your personally identifiable medical data.

 

You can access this PCN website without giving us any personally identifiable information about yourself. We are committed to protecting your privacy and data, and this website has appropriate technical measures to do so.

All staff who use this website from a professional perspective are routinely trained in GDPR standards and bound to patient confidentiality as part of their employment conditions.

 

Our website contains links to other webpages and websites – please note that we do not have any control over these sites and therefore cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information that you provide whilst using those sites. Please refer to the individual privacy policies of those other sites.

If you wish to give us any info by contacting us or interacting with any sort of form or questionnaire on the website, we would only ever use your personal information to reply back to you.

 

What are your data protection rights?

Every user of this website is entitled to the following:
